What is Crypto Sticker and how does it work
Crypto Sticker is a digital service for virtual collectible objects. Every Crypto Sticker is a unique registry entry with a serial number, an image, a level, a nominal and a history of events. Stickers are gathered into a personal collection, upgraded, gifted and listed on the Marketplace.
Crypto Sticker in brief
A Crypto Sticker is a digital collectible sticker: an image with its own serial number (for example, GS-154827) that is kept in the registry and secured to the owner's account. Every sticker has a public digital passport showing its series, faction, level, nominal, status and history.
How a Crypto Sticker appears
A sticker can reach your collection in several ways: through a Cryptoscope QR code on a partner's product, as a gift from another member, on the Marketplace or through site campaigns. Adding a sticker to a collection for the first time is called activation: after it, the one-time link stops working and the sticker appears in your personal collection.
The QR code is explained on the Cryptoscope page, and every step is described in How Crypto Sticker works.
Number, series, faction, level and nominal
- Serial number — the unique identifier of the entry. Its prefix shows the series: GS for Genesis, NG for Next Generation, EVO for Evolution.
- Series — a release of stickers. All releases are reviewed on the Crypto Sticker collections page.
- Faction — one of the sticker's two sides: Solars (sun) or Hearts (heart). See Factions.
- Level — from I to XXIV. It grows with upgrades; the higher the level, the higher the nominal. The table is on the Levels page.
- Nominal — Crypto Sticker's internal unit of account, not a money balance. Marketplace prices are in nominals: 1 nominal = 1 $ of Balance CS.
What you can do with a sticker
- Collect. All your stickers, their levels and the actions available for them are shown in your personal collection.
- Upgrade. Two stickers of the same series and the same level — one Solars and one Hearts — move to the next level together. See Levels and upgrades.
- Gift. A level I sticker can be gifted free of charge by a one-time link or directly to a site member. See Gifts.
- Sell on the Marketplace. The owner lists a sticker at a fixed price in nominals for 1 to 30 days. See How the Marketplace works.
- Send to the system. Handing a sticker to the system for a later sale to manufacturers of goods and services; once confirmed, the request cannot be cancelled. Intake to the System opens later — the conditions are described in the FAQ.
Legal status: not a cryptocurrency
Crypto Sticker is not a cryptocurrency. Under the Terms of Use, a cryptosticker is a virtual collectible object and an entry in a private registry; it is not a bank account, electronic money, a security, an investment product, a share in a project or an unconditional monetary claim against the operator.
The nominal is an internal parameter of Crypto Sticker's mechanics. It does not represent a market price, a yield or a guaranteed buyback amount. The service does not promise any income from owning stickers.
